An escape from the big city to a more quiet place. HA. This blog helps me ramble on about my love of all things agriculture, singing, knitting, reading, eating while trying to lose weight, and more.

my brother the high school senior
Last week I was able to spend the week in Chickasha with my family. The plus to that was I also got to schedule some senior portraits shoots! They were a blast!!! I have posted a ton of those pictures on my photography blog: TP Photography. BUT I will post these of my favorite little man on earth: my bubba, Matt.
Agriculture is more than my passion, it is my way of life. However, I feel as though I have been turned upsidedown. It's almost a "Green Acres" feel — only completely opposite of the entire show. I'm the country girl. My husband — who for the purpose of this blog will be referred to as Honey-do — is the city boy that I married and we moved to the big city of Olathe, Kan., December 2007. Now, don't get me wrong. I love it here. I love big city life. But I am itchin' for some country summer!
The purpose of my blog is to escape this madness I call life and ramble a bit about my knitting projects, weight-loss goals, singing again, all things agriculture and my dear, sweet husband!
